Pastor Evelyn Harris

Amy Sandy, Office Administrator

I have been working in faith-based organizations for 20 plus years. I started with the six-month-old J-103 Contemporary Christian Radio when it was still operating out of the founder’s basement, just around the corner from my own home. I was with them for ten years. I spent another combined ten years as the Parish Administrator/ Facilities Manager at St. Paul’s and St. Timothy’s Episcopal Churches.  I came to St. Luke in May of 2015. I love the friendly environment, the wonderful volunteers, and especially working so closely with the pastor, Rev. Evelyn Harris.  I will always remember the love and compassion shown to me when my heart dog, Lexi, passed, after being the “church dog” for 1 ½ years. I hope to continue in this welcoming environment for many years to come (along with our new church puppy, Xena).

Debbie Kietzman, Parents’ Day Out Director

I was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana. Right on Lake Michigan. My husband and I and our 2 daughters moved to Chattanooga in June 1990, for his job. Our oldest daughter Sarah is married and a teacher in Cobb County Georgia, and lives in Hiram, GA with her husband Scott. Our youngest daughter Abby is married and is an RN in  Anchorage, Alaska and lives with her wife Jess and their two rescue dogs.
I began working at St. Luke on September 6,1996, just to contribute to our family, and I haven’t left in almost 21 years!  I have met so many wonderful people here: parents, parishioners, kids’ and women and young women with whom I have had the pleasure to work. It has been a blessing for me to have been a part of this church and program for so many years. There is nothing better in this world than rocking a baby!️

Jeremy Dowlen, Sexton

As a Chattanooga native. I spent my youth living and working on a small dairy farm in north Hamilton county. I dedicated twenty years of work to the US Postal Service, and am a recent college graduate. I have done service work, maintenance, welding and fabrication, carpentry, blacksmithing, and spent a brief time in the design industry.  I am a musician who plays the mandolin and standup bass, and I recently fell in love with the fiddle. I play in an upstart band called the “GrimmRiffers”. I also enjoy outdoor sports. My new goal is to run ultra marathons in the Paleo running style. I hope to serve God and the Church with dedication using my gift as a “renaissance man” worker.
