Expect St. Luke to be a place of sanctuary and safety.
Expect St. Luke to be a school of love.
Expect to be sent forth to serve.
On Sundays, we worship beginning at 11:00 a.m.
We offer a casual, come as you are atmosphere. Some folks prefer to dress up, while others prefer more casual clothes, while still others attend in their work uniforms, either on their way to or from work.
We celebrate children in the present life of the church. Nursery is offered for children age newborn through 2nd grade. You are also welcome to keep your children with you in worship without fear of judgement or condemnation.
Our worship is active with congregational responses and readings, called liturgy, as well as congregational hymns sung from hymnals and/or screens. Our worship is dynamic, shifting to reflect the needs of our community and our Christian calendar. For the holy days of Christmas Eve and Easter, you will even hear our three stave Mueller pipe organ used during worship. Our weekly worship music is varied since our pianist, Bill Hackler, is a trained jazz pianist. He brings his influences of jazz, classic rock, and classical music to bear on our services in amazing and marvelous ways.
All are welcome in our worship services. All means all (refer to “Who We Are”). Questions, doubts, hopes, and dreams are always welcome…no strings attached.
